Why Latinos LOVE Bernie Sanders

The most powerful voice in the 2020 election may be the voice of Latinos, that group is the fastest growing voting group in the United States. In 2016, just enough Latinos supported Donald Trump to help him win the Presidency, they believing he would make their lives better but that may have changed in 2020. Never before has a candidate electrified the Hispanic population, the way Bernie Sanders is doing. A stunning poll in 2019 shows the Vermont Senator with an astonishing lead among Hispanics.

How Bernie Sanders won Iowa’s popular vote in 2020

Sanders worked hard to appeal to Hispanic voters in Iowa, and it paid off, wrote Al Día’s Nigel Thompson

In Iowa’s 12 Hispanic-majority caucuses, Sanders got more than 66% of the raw vote that is an astonishing percentage which receive very little media attention. Latinos stopped Pete Buttigieg from winning the popular vote in Iowa.

To show how large the victory was with Latinos, the next highest percentage was Biden, with about to 11% of the vote.

As of today’s Morning Consul Poll (a much respected pollster) Sanders is way ahead with Latinos nationally.
Hispanic Voters: Sanders 48% (+10) Bloomberg 17% (+1) Biden 13% (-4) Buttigieg 8% (+2) Warren 7% (+4)

What is the appeal of Uncle Bernie?

Called Tio Bernie (Uncle Bernie) by many Latinos, Sanders is the person who feels your suffering. He knows you have been mistreated.
Lost your job? Can’t pay the bills, not a citizen? Working for low wages? Sanders is the person who says “Let’s go down to the boss man and fight for our rights”; it is a message many people love.

All politicians say they will fight for you, but Bernie actually does it. Sanders stood with store employees in front of Walmart and demanded a living wage for the employees, but the real shocker was…he did it before he announced he was running for President!

Protesting for the poor is not a publicity stunt for Bernie Sanders; he has done it his whole life.

In Bernie or Tio Bernie, Latinos finally see someone who will give them a fair shot enjoying the benefits of the United States. Latinos may make Bernie Sanders the next President of the United States/.

Trump says Democrats trying to rob Bernie Sanders again

Image result for donald trump

Donald Trump tweeted today that the Democratic Party is trying to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders. If what the President is saying is true, it would be a flashback to 2016 when hacked emails showed the DNC (democratic national party) was secretly working with Hillary Clinton to keep Bernie Sanders from winning the nomination. The DNC is supposed to be impartial as to who wins democrat elections, but the hacked emails revealed that was not the case in 2016.

Politics can be dirty

As much as we like to believe elections are fair and free in the United States, a closer look reveals that much efforts is put into influencing voters and even stealing elections.

Hillary Clinton is a DNC legend, she has worked with the DNC for over 20 years, she is a symbol of the Democratic Party, but Bernie Sanders on the other hand is not. Sanders is an independent who has strong ties to democrats, he shares most of their political beliefs. The main difference with Sanders is his belief that the people should wield the power of the government not a political party. Sanders believes in a people powered government.

DNC secretly working against Bernie Sanders
Hacked emails in 2016 revealed that the DNC was doing something very wrong, it was highly unethical; they decided to help Hillary Clinton defeat Bernie Sanders. The bombshell emails resulted in the firing of DNC President Debbie Wassarman Shultz, who is a close friend of Hillary Clinton.

Trump blasts Clinton on live TV

2016 is 2020 ?

Donald Trump said Friday that the DNC is planning on using Trump’s impeachment trial as a way of keeping Senator Sanders off the campaign trail. Sanders will be a juror in Trump’s impeachment trial and this is good for Joe Biden (a Hillary/ DNC supported candidate) who will be free to campaign.

With Sanders surging in every poll, it may be horrible timing for him to be called off the campaign trail, Trump may be right that Joe Biden will benefit with Sanders stuck on impeachment Jury duty.
Trump is right that the DNC does not want Bernie Sanders to win, but this may not have anything to do with the impeachment schedule. If the democrats are truly scheduling the impeachment to keep Bernie Sanders occupied it would be truly remarkable. It seems more likely this was not planned, but it does help Joe Biden, a DNC favorite candidate.
Trump is right about corporate democrats trying to keep the nomination from Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders movement scares Wall Street democrats

Image result for wall street greed

Bernie sanders has the largest most dedicated political base in politics, the only other campaign that can rival Sanders is Trump’s MAGA supporters. The size and reach of the Sanders campaign literally causes corporate democrats to worry about the future of their party. Moderate democrats have always believed that playing nice with republicans was the best strategy, but that has become a liability in the era of Trump.

Progressives like Bernie Sanders believe it is best to stand up to republicans and that one should not be ashamed to be “openly” super liberal.

The money behind corporate democrats
Corporate democrats like Hillary Clinton. Barrack Obama and Joe Biden are heavily supportive of Wall Street, Clinton received a quarter of a million dollars for each 40 minute speech given to Wall Street executives in 2014-15

Clinton spoke to a securities law firm in September 2014 and talked about being a New York senator representing Wall Street who “did all I could to make sure they continued to prosper.”
And she joked at a Goldman conference in June 2013 about the bankers being “the smartest people.”

The big problem with the corporate democrats is that history shows, they can be bought.

Money influencing politicians is one of the greatest dangers to American democracy.
Bernie Sanders has a completely different view; to Sanders Wall Street is not the friend of the politician. Sanders points out Wall Street profits billions, due to tax laws which help the rich get rich, while ignoring the poor.

The bribing of politicians is a serious problem in Washington.
Sanders is not anti-business, but he is against a system that rewards billionaires with breaks the average person never receives.

Clinton has received a stunning 10 million dollars from Wall Street speeches; Bernie feels this is unethical behavior for a politician.
Bernie slams Clinton for cozying up to Wall St video

This video clearly reveals why Bernie Sanders is a threat to corporate democrats.
It is clear Bernie Sanders and the corporate democrats have very little in common.

Why Bernie Sanders is set to win Iowa

Bernie Sanders has one of the strongest grassroots campaign in the history of politics.

The Iowa caucus is only a couple weeks away and the Vermont Senator is on fire in the state.  In 2016 most polls had Hillary Clinton leading Sanders by about 8% in the state, but the results were much closer than many anticipated. The final result (despite a late challenge), was that Hillary Clinton won the Iowa Caucus by the closest margin in the history of the contest: 49.8% Clinton to 49.6% Bernie Sanders.

The big difference in 2020

In 2016, Bernie Sanders had 74 offices in the state of Iowa, this year he has an astonishing 150 offices and the largest ground patrol in the history of the state. Despite being 78 years old, Senator Sanders’s popularity is increasing; he has the highest favorability of any other democrat according to a just released CBS news poll.

34 Million dollars raised in the last quarter

The Bernie Sanders campaign announced last week that they had raised an unheard of $ 34 million dollars in just the last 4 months of 2019. The total contributions are now at 109 million for the year of 2019; this has allowed the Sanders campaign to put a very strong team on the ground in Iowa.

Most of this money is from small individual donations averaging $18 dollars each, compare this to other campaigns that rely on billion corporations to finance their campaign.

Individual contribution translates into real voter turnout, people who donate their money come out to vote. Teachers and nurses were found to be the largest contributors to the Sanders campaign, not one billionaire.

Secret weapon

One thing that the mainstream media has not reported on, is the tremendous numbers of people who are knocking on doors in Iowa for the Bernie Sanders campaign; this produces results!

In the next post I will go more into the door knocking strategy and why it works so well.

Judging by 2016, Bernie Sanders will be very hard to beat in Iowa in 2020.

New Poll: Bernie Sanders with Massive Lead among College Students

A new election tracker poll shows Bernie Sanders with an incredible 15 point lead with college students, compared to all other democrats running for President.

The Vermont senator has always been popular with young people but it seems his presidential run has strengthened with Donald Trump in the White House. The poll makes it clear that college students, choose Bernie Sanders as the person they would like to see representing them in the White house.

One of the most ironic things about this poll, is that Sanders spent much of the 1960’s and 70’s on college campuses protesting against injustice. He was a part of the civil rights movement, the women’s movement and even fought for union workers.

Fighting against injustice

It is clear that Bernie Sanders has spent most of his life fighting for those who do not have a voice; this is something that rings true with college students. College age people are often the most adamant against injustices.

Chegg election tracker survey of Democratic Party-leaning undergraduates across the U.S. saw Sanders finish out of the year with an almost 40 percent support, this is an unbelievable number for a Presidential candidate.

The Trump Presidency has caused many people to take a closer look at issues of injustice.
Issues like immigration, DACA, racism and billionaire influences in politics has caused an increase in political awareness; this has been good for the Bernie Sanders campaign.
College Students often get it right, they see injustice and they don’t like it, frankly it should come as no surprise Bernie Sanders has the firm support of college students
